Hi there!
I’m Prab, a registered dietitian who focuses on Punjabi-inspired plant-based nutrition. I blend traditional Punjabi flavours and culture with approachable, evidence-based plant-based nutrition.
My goal is to show you how vegan and vegetarian eating can be nourishing, easy to love, and rooted in culture. Here, you’ll find simple vegan and vegetarian recipes inspired by Punjabi cuisine, along with practical nutrition tips and information.
● Punjabi-Inspired Plant-Based Nutrition
While plant-based eating has become increasingly popular in recent years, many cultures—like Punjabi culture—have embraced vegetarian diets for generations.
Food is central to Punjabi culture: it’s vibrant, flavourful, nutrient-rich, and woven into our heritage. Still, it can feel overwhelming to know how to incorporate these foods into your daily routine while meeting your nutrient needs. That’s where I come in!

● My Journey
My parents immigrated to Canada from Punjab before I was born, so I’ve spent my life immersed in both Punjabi and Western cultures.
My interest in nutrition began in high school when I first noticed the powerful connection between food and health. That passion deepened when I recognized a gap in the dietetic field when it came to understanding Punjabi foods, traditions, and culture.
I wanted to bridge that gap. So, after completing two bachelor’s degrees in science, a minor in psychology, a master’s degree in nutrition, and my dietetic training and registration, I launched NutriKaur!

I hope you find NutriKaur valuable and inspiring. If you have questions or just want to say hello, I’d love to hear from you.
